Safe and Effective Solutions for Your Skin Concerns with Minimal to No Downtime.

YOUR SKIN CONCERNS

_

At LBR, our expert practitioners can help treat a range of skin concerns safely and effectively with minimal to no downtime. Many of us experience some form of skin tags, lesions or visible veins on our face and body that can affect our confidence.

If you have a skin concern that you’ve been looking to tackle, then selecting the most appropriate skin treatment is one of the first steps we’ll help you take. To make sure we pick out the best skin treatment for you, you’ll need to come in for an initial consultation where you can talk with us about your concerns and we can examine your skin closely to find the ideal solution. These consultations are free of charge and will start you on the best path to reaching your skin goals.

SKIN TAG REMOVAL

_

Skin Tags are very common and are usually nothing to worry about. They are small, raised areas of loose skin that vary in colour and size, ranging anything from a few millimetres to 2 inches wide and can look flesh coloured to red or brown. They usually hang off the skin and are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin and under the breasts. They can also grow on the eyelids and under the folds of the buttocks.

Similar to Milia, we use a form of Laser Removal to treat Skin Tags. Advanced Electrolysis is the laser technology we implement when performing the treatment as it uses a fine, high intensity current to remove the tag bothering you. It is a low pain intensity treatment and a session usually takes up to half an hour.

THREAD VEIN REMOVAL

_

Thread veins (also known as spider veins) are not dangerous, but they can keep you from feeling your best!

Thread veins are a condition in which clusters of small dilated red or purple blood vessels appear on the legs, feet and face. They usually occur between the ages of 18-35 years and peaks between the ages of 50-60 years. They are quite common and can affect both men and women.

Using the most advanced laser technology, we can safely and effectively treat both tiny superficial face veins and deeper blue leg veins on men and women of all skin tones. Our laser treats a broad range of vessels from tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins quickly, safely, and effectively. The laser works by delivering pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel, which is harmlessly reabsorbed by your body. Blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin’s surface, where it should be.

BENEFITS OF THREAD VEIN REMOVAL:

o    Results are often noticeable after only one session
o    Treatments are safe, non-invasive and virtually painless
o    You can immediately resume your regular activities
o    There are very few, if any, side effects

MILIA REMOVAL

_

Milia, also known as ‘milk spots’, are harmless cysts found around the eye area which are commonly mistaken for whiteheads or spots. They occur as a result of trapped oils/minerals in the skin that create small, spot-like cysts just below the skin’s surface. Milia spots can be very frustrating for the sufferer and can impact your self-confidence. So, if you’ve had enough, then LBR can help!

To treat Milia, we use Advanced Electrolysis, a method stemmed from Laser Removal. The device we use emits a very fine needle to pierce the Milia spot and by sending an electrical current through the needle and to the skin’s surface, it releases any trapped oil and dissolves the unwanted Milia spot. The treatment itself may feel like a hot pinprick and may feel a bit sensitive around the eye area. Yet, discomfort levels range from people to people, with some clients feeling nothing at all, to some noticing the small pricking sensation.

This treatment is a very quick procedure, with each Milia spot gone in a matter of seconds. By using Advanced Electrolysis, we target the source of Milia instantly and by releasing any excess oil found, your Milia shouldn’t return.
